Korimana – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. What is included in my retreat package?
Your retreat includes:
- Private round-trip transportation from a designated meeting point in Quito to Korimana
- Lodging in our sacred accommodations
- All meals prepared by our culinary team
- Treatments and experiences explicitly listed in your selected retreat package
- Use of common wellness areas such as the Rejuvenation Studio, infinity pool, sauna, Turkish bath, and steam box (when not in private use)
2. What is not included?
Your retreat includes:
- Private round-trip transportation from a designated meeting point in Quito to Korimana
- Lodging in our sacred accommodations
- All meals prepared by our culinary team
- Treatments and experiences explicitly listed in your selected retreat package
- Use of common wellness areas such as the Rejuvenation Studio, infinity pool, sauna, Turkish bath, and steam box (when not in private use)
3. Are nature walks included?
Yes. All natural walks on designated Korimana trails are included and must be accompanied by a team member.
Please note: Korimana is located within a primary and secondary forest, home to diverse wildlife. Guided walks ensure both your safety and ecological respect.
4. Can I consume wine or alcohol during my retreat?
- Wine or craft cocktails may be enjoyed after the completion of your retreat experience, at your own cost.
- Alcohol consumption is not permitted once the retreat itinerary has officially started. We ask for full energetic presence during the core experience.
5. Is internet access available?
Yes. Wi-Fi is included and available in designated areas.
6. Can I use the business center?
Yes. The business center is available by reservation only, allowing quiet access when needed.
7. Is laundry service available?
Laundry is not included in your retreat package. Please plan accordingly.
8. Are external excursions allowed?
No. External excursions are not permitted or included. Korimana is a curated and immersive experience focused on inner healing and presence.
9. Is transportation back to Quito included?
Yes. Round-trip transportation to and from Quito (designated meeting point) is included in all retreat packages.
10. Do I need travel or health insurance?
Yes. You are required to have current international health insurance that covers medical emergencies during your stay.
11. What if I need emergency air transport?
Korimana has pre-coordinated helicopter evacuation services to a hospital in Guayaquil in case of severe emergencies.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your insurance policy includes emergency air transport coverage.
12. Are flight tickets included?
No. Travel to and from Ecuador is not included in your retreat package.
13. Can I receive help planning travel before or after Korimana?
Yes. We offer a Premier Concierge Service to help you extend your stay in Ecuador after your Korimana retreat.
We do not recommend booking other travel experiences prior to your Korimana visit, as the retreat is designed to be your energetic reset point.

14. Can I arrive early or stay extra nights at Korimana?
No. Korimana operates as an event-based retreat. All participants arrive and depart as a group to maintain the integrity of the healing journey.
15. What should I pack?
After confirming your spot, you’ll receive a detailed Pre-Retreat Welcome Packet with packing suggestions tailored to your specific retreat and the climate.
16. Can I come with a friend or partner?
Yes, however each person must be a registered participant. Korimana is an intimate experience, and no external guests are allowed.
